Auctus Capital is founded by Vikas Phadnis, a successful entrepreneur who built one of the largest education companies in India with foot-print beyond the borders of the country and scaled it to over USD 200 million. We know how hard it is to build a fast growth company and we enjoy bringing all our operational expertise and network to help our portfolio companies grow and succeed.
Founder & CEO
Vikas Phadnis, Co-founder of EuroKids, is a respected and endeared name in India’s Pre-School and K-12 education sector.
Over the past 20 years, he has contributed significantly to build the education sector in India with over 1300+ pre-schools across 29 states and 7 Union territories. Additionally, with 40+ leading K12 educational institutions in the country, Vikas has driven the company’s business agenda resulting in exponential growth making these the most sought after private educational institutions in India. An Engineer and a Management Graduate, Vikas is today a role model for professional managers who strive to convert breakthrough ideas into successful large businesses. With his keen interest in people & culture, he spent significant amount of time building the high-performance culture at the group.
Having built the organisation with a unified, apolitical, homogenous 1700-member strong team at EuroKids, Vikas decided to get himself equipped with tools & techniques of Coaching other business leaders for success. Having completed a Leadership Coaching course from UK, he is credentialed as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from International Coaching Federation (ICF). To further hone his skills in this field and gain additional insights in the world of Coaching, he later completed a one-year Degree course at University of Cambridge in “Advanced Leadership Coaching”.
After successfully selling his stake in EuroKids to American PE major KKR in September 2019 in a landmark transaction in India’s education sector, Vikas has embarked on a new journey of Coaching-Mentoring-Investing by launching Auctus Capital Services, a firm which aims to coach, mentor and invest intellectual, human and monetary capital into startups from various sectors. As a leadership Coach Vikas has been trained to work with entrepreneurs across sectors, which enables Auctus to work in sectors as diverse as Ed-tech to Health-tech to EV to Corporate E-skilling.
An avid reader and sports enthusiast, Vikas lives in Mumbai with his wife Namita and daughter Cymroan.
